2016 Cang Jiang Yi Zhu Raw Puerh
2016 Cang Jiang Yi Zhu Raw Puerh
In the mood for something sweet? Our 2016 Cang Jiang Yi Zhu is a confectionary treat worth indulging in. This tea was pressed in 2016 using tea leaves collected solely from gushu (old trees) ranging from 300 - 800 years old in a naturally sustained tea planation between 1800 - 2300 meters by the Lancang River in Yunnan, China.
It is sweet, complex and lasting thanks to the fertile soil, humidity, and high altitude it was grown in. With the rich aroma of vanilla, lime curd and fresh bread, your senses will be engaged as soon as you begin brewing. Notes of orange, cooked banana, cream, and jasmine are balanced by darker flavors of forest moss and walnuts, providing a well-rounded tea drinking experience. We especially love the creamy taste and complex texture of this aged raw puerh.
Wrapper was designed by the talented Miles Tewson.
