2014 Yi Wu Ma Hei Raw Puerh Tea
2014 Yi Wu Ma Hei Raw Puerh Tea
Our Yi Wu Ma Hei was pressed in 2014 using a blend of tea leaves collected from gushu trees (trees that are more than 100 years old) and surrounding younger tea trees at high altitude (approximately 1330 meters).
This forgiving raw puerh is perfect for those days when you have a long to-do list but still want to enjoy a cup of tea. Brew it too hot, steep it too long, use too much leaf, and our 2014 Yi Wu Ha Hei will still deliver a lovely experience. Six years of aging have made this tea mellow and soft, like a charming mature lady. The tea leaves release a delicious fragrance of buttery apple pie, mandarin peel, and saltwater taffy. The aroma is complemented by the flavor of dried apricots, sweet minerality, and spring flowers. This resilient tea offers sweet scents, consistent strength, and full-bodied texture and without getting too bitter or dry. The delicate, floral, and fruity sweetness will keep you company for more than 15 infusions.
