Lao Cong Ba Xian
Lao Cong Ba Xian
Harvested in May, 2020. These heavily roasted, dark, long, and twisted tea leaves were skillfully hand-picked from 80 year-old single tea bushes. Rich yet delicate, our Lao Cong Ba Xian offers the characteristic intense taste of fruit, nuts, and blossom jostle, with a long lasting orchid and plum aftertaste.
Steep with boiling hot water (100℃/ 212℉) for only 3 seconds. It can be steeped 10 - 13 times in a Gaiwan vessel.
Lao Cong Ba Xian dancong offers a wide palette of enduring aromas. From the first steeping, the freshness of flower and sweet honey fills your body. When smelling the brewed tea, you will pick up an intense and refreshing floral fragrance. The first impression of the taste is a heaviness with a subtle bitterness, followed by the thicker, richer aroma of the tea’s body, and finally a mellow, honey, orchid and plum aftertaste. Delicate and complex, this is an ultra-premium Dan Cong Oolong tea.
