The same potter who makes our "gentle Pink gaiwan" collaborated with another artist in Jingdezhen to create a few hand-painted gaiwans. This gaiwan features a smoky pink glaze with a cozy, happy cat enjoying the snowfall. It has an ultra-smooth surface and matte finish. The shape of the gaiwan makes it pour like a dream and it won't burn your fingers.

It’s food safe, of course. And also dishwasher safe. However, I strongly recommend that you wash and dry it by hand, and use it gently. Please do not use on an open flame, gas or electric stove-top. And try to avoid alternating hot and cold, which could cause cracking.
