Handmade by the same potter who creates the Moonlight White gaiwan in Jindezhen, China, this round gaiwan features a hand-painted lotus flower pattern and cute little ducks on the body of the gaiwan. The texture of the clay is similar to porcelain and it sounds really crisp when the lid touches the bowl. We particularly like the classic blue lines, round body, and hand painted pattern of this gaiwan.
Please note that this whole set comes with a gaiwan and two matching teacups.

Additional Information:
It’s food safe, of course. And also dishwasher safe. However, I strongly recommend that you wash and dry it by hand, and use it gently. Please do not use on an open flame, gas or electric stove-top. And try to avoid alternating hot and cold, which could cause cracking.
