We hold a deep fondness for Qinghua styled teaware, as our collections can never seem to have enough. Handcrafted by Xin Ying in Jingdezhen, China, her pottery exudes timeless elegance, often adorned with intricate patterns inspired by nature such as flowers, plants, and occasionally motifs reminiscent of Chinese calligraphy.
These particular gaiwans feature a neutral beige color with handwritten Chinese characters. Xin Ying deliberately crafted the gaiwans to be lightweight, and the wide-edge design ensures they won't burn your fingertips. Their classic Qinghua style adds a timeless charm to your tea set.

It’s food safe, of course. And also dishwasher safe. However, I strongly recommend that you wash and dry it by hand, and use it gently. Please do not use on an open flame, gas or electric stove-top. And try to avoid alternating hot and cold, which could cause cracking.
