2020 Sugar Cloud Yi Wu
2020 Sugar Cloud Yi Wu
As huge fans of raw puerh tea, we have to carry tea from the Yi Wu region at Kong Mountain Tea. Our 2020 Sugar Cloud Yi Wu raw puerh was pressed in 2020 using spring tea leaves that were handpicked from high altitude (approximately 1600 meters) old tea trees, also known as gushu (more than 100 years old). The climate and rich soil provide an ideal environment for the signature big leaf tea of Yunnan.
Raw puerh teas can be so similar yet so different depending on where it grows, how old the tree is, and how long it has been stored. Generally, tea grown in the Yi Wu region is known for its soft, sweet taste and long-lasting fragrance. The dry leaves of our 2020 Sugar Cloud Yi Wu give off a soft, sweet, buttery aroma. The scent becomes sweeter with cooked fruit notes as soon as you add water. The flavor of this tea is very gentle and clean. If you are new to raw puerh tea, and you want to experience a very balanced profile with a highlight of sweet, soft, and long-lasting taste, this is a perfect tea to start with!
