Light Yellow Glaze Mini Tea Jar
Handmade by the same potter who creates many of our soda-fired tea jars in Jingdezhen, China, this tea jar was glazed both on the interior and outside before firing. During the firing, soda is added which results in a unique texture, pattern, and color. We particularly like the watercolor-like yellow glaze of this tea jar. The lid of this tea jar is made of clay, which may allow some air in. For this reason, it's great for short-term tea storage. We usually use tea jars like this on the tea table to hold tea that is consumed on a daily basis.

Additional Information:
It’s food safe, of course. And also dishwasher safe. However, I strongly recommend that you wash and dry it by hand, and use it gently. Please do not use on an open flame, gas or electric stove-top. And try to avoid alternating hot and cold, which could cause cracking.
