Grungy Spring Green Tea Jar
Handmade in Jingdezhen, China, this grungy green tea jar is glazed on the outside before firing. The interior is not glazed. During the firing, soda is added which results in a unique texture, pattern, and color. We particularly like the grungy finish and spring-like green glaze of this tea jar. The lid of this tea jar is made of clay, which may allow some air in. For this reason, it's great for short-term tea storage. We usually use tea jars like this on the tea table to hold tea that is consumed on a daily basis.

Additional Information:
It’s food safe, of course. And also dishwasher safe. However, I strongly recommend that you wash and dry it by hand, and use it gently. Please do not use on an open flame, gas or electric stove-top. And try to avoid alternating hot and cold, which could cause cracking.
