Handmade by a potter in Jingdezhen, China, these teacups feature an ultra light gray glaze that was achieved by plant ashes. Each teacup was thoughtfully hand-wheeled, the mouth edge is thin which fits your mouth comfortably, and the body and bottom of the teacup has a nice weight, which makes them stable on the tea table. We especially like the unpretentious design and rustic appearance of these teacups.

It’s food safe, of course. And also dishwasher safe. However, I strongly recommend that you wash and dry it by hand, and use it gently. Please do not use on an open flame, gas or electric stove-top. And try to avoid alternating hot and cold, which could cause cracking.
