My cousin, who runs a busy tea house in China, put three aged white tea cakes in my suitcase when I first came to the U.S. as an international student in 2015. Why did she send me off with aged shoumei instead of fresh silver needle or bai mu dan? Well, these cakes act like medicine on cold winter days in New England. They do a fantastic job keeping me warm from the inside, especially when I caught a cold or had a headache over the past few years. Now I only have one of those tea cakes left, so it is the perfect time to restock and introduce you all to the world of white tea.
All of our white teas are sourced in tea plantations that are approximately 600 - 800 meters high, and 20 - 30 years old in Guan Yang County, Fuding City, Fu Jian Province, China. White tea has a very delicate taste and will always hold a special place in our heart. We hope you will take a peaceful moment to enjoy the fragrance and flavor of these teas.
