2019 Spring Breeze Bai Mu Dan (First Grade)
Our 2019 Spring Breeze Bai Mu Dan was harvested during spring in Fuding and then pressed into miniature mountain ranges. Each little peak weighs about 4-6 grams, the perfect amount of tea for a 100-120 ml giawan. Because they’re individually pressed into single servings, they’re great for bringing with you when you travel.
To help these tightly-pressed leaves fully open, we recommend making your first and second infusions longer and hotter than you usually would. Don’t worry, you can brew this bai mu dan for a full minute and it won’t get bitter! The aroma leans more bright and vegetal than other white teas, but still has the floral, creamy notes that you expect. Similar to the aroma, the flavor is vibrant, refreshing, and gentle. This tea lives up to its name and evokes the feeling of springtime.
