Handmade by Zeng Zhiqiang from Jingdezhen, China, these gaiwan features a light gray base with hand-painted white strokes. We particularly like the shape design and intuitively painted glaze. The wide-open mouth design makes it very comfortable to hold and doesn’t burn your fingertips. Pours like a dream.

It’s food safe, of course. And also dishwasher safe. However, I strongly recommend that you wash and dry it by hand, and use it gently. Please do not use on an open flame, gas or electric stove-top. And try to avoid alternating hot and cold, which could cause cracking.
