Ruby Red Waste Bowl
Handmade by "云汀 （Yun Ting)" studio in Jingdezhen, China, this waste bowl features a ruby red matte glaze with a white glazed interior. It was hand-thrown on a potter’s wheel, so the walls of the waste bowl are perfectly balanced. We especially like the gourd filter design. In Chinese culture, the pronunciation of the word gourd ("葫芦- Hu lu") sounds similar to "福禄-fu lu," which means fortune and wealth, with the gourd seeds symbolizing productivity and fertility. The waste bowl will help to maintain a dry and neat tea setup.

Additional Information:
It’s food safe, of course. And also dishwasher safe. However, I strongly recommend that you wash and dry it by hand, and use it gently. Please do not use on an open flame, gas or electric stove-top. And try to avoid alternating hot and cold, which could cause cracking.
