Handmade by Chaoyang in Jingdezhen, China, this teapot is inspired by a theme he has dedicated years to: Blooming Flower & Full Moon (“花好月圆” in Chinese). I was instantly drawn to its simplicity and subtle sophistication.
The clay was privately formulated by the potter himself for optimal texture and design details. Over time, as your tea interacts with the clay, the inside of the teapot transforms into a galaxy of colors. It’s a delightful adventure to observe these subtle changes.
The side handle design is inspired by the growth and texture of flower petals, making this a unique piece that can be passed down through generations.

Additional Information:
It’s food safe, of course. And also dishwasher safe. However, I strongly recommend that you wash and dry it by hand, and use it gently. Please do not use on an open flame, gas or electric stove-top. And try to avoid alternating hot and cold, which could cause cracking.
