2019 Gushu Sun-Dried Black Tea (Gu Shu Shai Hong)
2019 Gushu Sun-Dried Black Tea (Gu Shu Shai Hong)
If you are interested in exploring the potential of tea made from gu shu trees, don’t miss out on our Gushu Sun-Dried Black Tea (Gu Shu Shai Hong). The aroma of the leaves is incredibly potent - full of fruity and floral qualities. The taste is dark and complex, providing a nice contrast to the brighter and sweeter scent. The liquor of this tea is where the high quality of the leaves really shines. It is a vibrant, shimmering amber color and has a thick, luxurious texture. You can see fine bud hairs suspended in it, especially if you use a glass teacup or faircup. The aroma, mouthfeel, and persistence of this Gushu Sun-Dried Black Tea show the benefits of making tea from gu shu trees.
All the tea leaves were hand picked from Gu Shu (aged trees that are more than 100 years old) in Gu Mo village in Yunnan, China.
Once the fresh leaves were collected, they would experience wilting, tea rolling, then fermentation. After that, all the leaves will be dried from sunlight. Given the advantage of sunny weather in Yunnan, our sun-dried black tea releases a refreshing warm fragrance.
If you tried our 2019 Old Tree Dragon Ball Black Tea, we are sure you will love this loose leaf sundried black tea even more!
