Handmade Egg Yolk Soda Fired Tea/Coffee Mug
Handmade by the same potter who creates the soda firing tea jar in Jingdezhen, China, this mug was glazed both on the interior and outside before firing. During the firing, soda is added which results in a unique texture, pattern, and color. We particularly like the rustic finish and refreshing glaze of this mug.
Please note that there is a crack-like pattern on one side of this mug. This is not an actual crack sign and it is caused by the glaze shrinking when fired at a high temperature. We don't consider it a flaw since it's part of the natural firing process and does not impact the usability of the cup.

Additional Information:
It’s food safe, of course. And also dishwasher safe. However, I strongly recommend that you wash and dry it by hand, and use it gently. Please do not use on an open flame, gas or electric stove-top. And try to avoid alternating hot and cold, which could cause cracking.
