Handmade in Jingdezhen, China, this over head handle teapot is glazed on the outside before firing. The interior is not glazed. During the firing, soda is added resulting in a unique texture, pattern, and color. We particularly like the over head handle, the handy shape, and unique finish of this teapot.

It’s food safe, of course. And also dishwasher safe. However, I strongly recommend that you wash and dry it by hand, and use it gently. Please do not use on an open flame, gas or electric stove-top. And try to avoid alternating hot and cold, which could cause cracking.
