Handmade by the same potter who created our Mountain & Valley Gaiwan in Jingdezhen, China, this houhin features a brown and white matte glaze with a unique chalky finish. The skillful potter makes the wall of the houhin super thin, so feels very light in your hand. It pours smoothly and cuts water like a dream. Its small capacity makes it a perfect teapot for solo tea drinking.

Additional Information:
It’s food-safe, of course. And also dishwasher safe. However, I strongly recommend that you wash and dry it by hand, and use it gently. Please do not use on an open flame, gas or electric stove-top. And try to avoid alternating hot and cold, which could cause cracking.
