Hand Painted Qing Hua Tea Bowl

Hand Painted Qing Hua Tea Bowl

$88.00

Handmade by the same potter who creates the moonface series gaiwan in Jingdezhen, China, this hand-painted qing hua tea bowl is inspired by traditional architecture and tea rooms inside the traditional houses. It features a hand-painted blue line pattern on the wall, and it uses rough clay which creates a vintage look. We especially like the details of the painting and the classic shape and lines with the contrast of the texture of the clay on this tea bowl. Please note that each of these tea bowls are handmade so there will be a slight variation in glaze and size, but they look very similar to each other. It's a perfect vessel for green tea brewing. We also like to pair it up with this Ru Yi teaspoon. Check out how we use a spoon and bowl to brew green tea with this video.

It’s food-safe, of course. And also dishwasher safe. However, I strongly recommend that you wash and dry it by hand, and use it gently. Please do not use on an open flame, gas or electric stove-top. And try to avoid alternating hot and cold, which could cause cracking.
