The dark blue tea tray was handmade and skillfully painted in Jingdezhen, China, by the same potter who creates the blue sky dancing cranes tea tray. It features a rabbit quietly observing the galaxy sky in front of reeds. We particularly like the complex layers of the midnight galaxy and the glossy finish of this tea tray. It fits perfectly for a gaiwan or a teapot and a solo teacup.

It’s food safe, of course. And also dishwasher safe. However, I strongly recommend that you wash and dry it by hand, and use it gently. Please do not use on an open flame, gas or electric stove-top. And try to avoid alternating hot and cold, which could cause cracking.
