Japanese Style Lacquerware Sakura Tea Tray
Japanese Style Lacquerware Sakura Tea Tray
Made in China, this Japanese style lacquerware sakura tea tray is made of wood and coated with lacquer. It has depth and will catch drips. Super lightweight.
Lacquer is remarkably resistant to water, acid, and, to a certain extent, heat. We’ve tested this tea tray with our Yixing teapot with (213°F) water and it works fine. Try not to exceed 213°F.
Lacquerware is vulnerable to dryness and is susceptible to ultraviolet light so exposure to direct sunlight should be avoided. And don’t put it in a microwave.
