Hand-painted Mongolian Style Tea Tray

Hand-painted Mongolian Style Tea Tray
I came across this Mongolian artist at a weekend bazaar in Jingdezhen, China. His designs, rooted in his Mongolian culture, stood out from the more prevalent Han Chinese works. This tea tray features a unique hand carved pattern which is glazed in a matte blue color. It is delightfully unpretentious in its appearance, in my opinion, and distinctively Mongolian, which can add some diversity to your tea set.

Additional Information:
It’s food safe, of course. And also dishwasher safe. However, I strongly recommend that you wash and dry it by hand, and use it gently. Please do not use on an open flame, gas or electric stove-top. And try to avoid alternating hot and cold, which could cause cracking.
