Vintage Thin Porcelain Qing Hua Gaiwan
Vintage Thin Porcelain Qing Hua Gaiwan
Hand-painted by an artist from Chaozhou, China, this thin porcelain gaiwan was created during the 90s. We particularly like the traditional qing hua (blue line flower) pattern on this gaiwan. Upon closer inspection, you might notice a few rough strokes or uneven spots. Given the years that this gaiwan had been through, it’s probably not the most delicate qing hua you’ve seen. However, when we learned how few gaiwans from this time period were available, we decided to stock as many as we could. It’s perfect for people with small hand and prefer a smaller gaiwan for gongfu style brewing. Holds approximately 70 ml of liquid.

Additional Information:
It’s food safe, of course. And dishwasher safe. However, I strongly recommend that you wash and dry it by hand, and use it gently. Please do not use on an open flame, gas or electric stove-top. And try to avoid alternating hot and cold, which could cause cracking.
