Wood-fired Pomegranate Gaiwan

Wood-fired Pomegranate Gaiwan
Handmade by the potter who creates the Pomegranate Gaiwan in Jingdezhen, China, this gaiwan uses rustic clay and is skillfully hand-wheeled to achieve a pomegranate shape. The unique matte glaze and texture is a result of direct exposure to fire and ash over a long period. We especially like the natural earthy look and charming wood-fired effect of this gaiwan. No glitz, how nature should look.
