Handmade by our favourite “Bian (邊）Studio” in Jingdezhen, China, this gaiwan features a silver exterior glaze with a creamy white interior glaze. The design makes it pour like a dream without burning your fingers. We particularly like the neat shape and warm feeling of gaiwans from this studio.

It’s food safe, of course. And also dishwasher safe. However, I strongly recommend that you wash and dry it by hand, and use it gently. Please do not use on an open flame, gas or electric stove-top. And try to avoid alternating hot and cold, which could cause cracking.
