Hand-painted at a studio in Jingdezhen, China, this unique cat gaiwan is not only perfect for qing hua (blue line) fans but also great for cat lovers in general. It is made of refined white porcelain with a glossy light blue appearance. The painted circles on the lid make it classic, and the image of the cat sitting in front of a tea set makes it special. The small size of this gaiwan makes it a perfect choice for gong fu tea style brewing. Holds approximately 110ml. Please note that these gaiwans are all handmade and hand-painted, so each of them is slightly different in size, glaze, and pattern.

It’s food safe, of course. And also dishwasher safe. However, I strongly recommend that you wash and dry it by hand, and use it gently. Please do not use on an open flame, gas or electric stove-top. And try to avoid alternating hot and cold, which could cause cracking.
