Handmade by a potter (the same potter who makes the mountain and valley gaiwan) from Jingdezhen, China. These gaiwan and teacups feature a white, grey and black glaze which appear glossy. The size of this gaiwan is small, so it holds very comfortably in hand. This potter originally comes from Chaozhou, Guangdong Province. He makes this set perfect for Chaozhou style gongfu tea.
This whole set includes a gaiwan and three teacups. The tea tray is not included, but you can find it in the tea tray section.

Additional Information:
It’s food safe, of course. And also dishwasher safe. However, I strongly recommend that you wash and dry it by hand, and use it gently. Please do not use on an open flame, gas or electric stove-top. And try to avoid alternating hot and cold, which could cause cracking.
