Handmade and hand-painted by a potter in Jingdezhen, China, this gaiwan features a beige matte glaze with dotted trapping that reminds us of the moonface. The painted pattern is inspired by a tiger in the woods. We especially like the ink painting style and glaze of this gaiwan. It pours smoothly and doesn’t burn your fingertips!

It’s food safe, of course. And also dishwasher safe. However, I strongly recommend that you wash and dry it by hand, and use it gently. Please do not use on an open flame, gas or electric stove-top. And try to avoid alternating hot and cold, which could cause cracking.
