Crafted in Jingdezhen, China, this Blue Rain gaiwan is made from traditional white porcelain, showcasing a dark blue glaze on the exterior and a white glaze inside. It’s food safe, of course. And also dishwasher safe. However, I strongly recommend that you wash and dry it by hand, and use it gently. Please do not use on an open flame, gas or electric stove-top. And try to avoid alternating hot and cold, which could cause cracking.
