Smoky Black Glazed Mountain Waste Bowl

Handmade in Jingdezhen by the same master potter who created our Mountain & Valley Gaiwan. This waste bowl features a black glossy glaze and a mountain-like hole in the center to catches drips from your teapot. The skillful potter makes it light to hold in the hand. We especially like the glaze and intuitive strokes on the body of the bowl. It holds approximately 430 ml of liquids.

Additional Information:

It’s food safe, of course. And also dishwasher safe. However, I strongly recommend that you wash and dry it by hand, and use it gently. Please do not use on an open flame, gas or electric stove-top. And try to avoid alternating hot and cold, which could cause cracking.
