This cheerful tea tray was handmade and skillfully painted by the same potter who creates the Moon Rabbit Tea Tray in Jingdezhen, China. It features a cherry blossom painting and a square shape that appears glossy. The Chinese characters in the center could be translated as “happiness”. It provides plenty of room for your teapot or gaiwan, and it’s suitable for dry-pour gongfu tea.

It’s food safe, of course. And also dishwasher safe. However, I strongly recommend that you wash and dry it by hand, and use it gently. Please do not use on an open flame, gas or electric stove-top. And try to avoid alternating hot and cold, which could cause cracking.
