Black Flying Cranes & Mountain Tea Tray
Black Flying Cranes & Mountain Tea Tray
This black rectangular tea tray was handmade and thoughtfully painted by Menglin in Jingdezhen, China. Menglin‘s artistry shines through in every piece, as she skillfully incorporates traditional elements such as cranes, peony flowers, peaches, and more into her designs. We’ve truly fallen in love with her unique painting style, and we‘re excited to bring her exquisite creations to you!
This particular tea tray features a couple of cranes flying across the mountains. We particularly like the hand painted details and unique finish of this tea tray. It fits perfectly for a gaiwan or a teapot and a few teacups. Please note that each of these tea trays are handmade and hand-painted so even the same batch comes slightly different in glaze texture and painting details. The characters “长相思” originates from ancient poem and captured a sense of longing and strong emotions associated with missing someone or something dearly.
