Handmade in Jingdezhen by the same potter who creates our “Handmade Dusty Lavender Gaiwan”, this gaiwan is made of refined porcelain clay, and it features a white glaze that appears glossy. The skilled potter made the wall of the gaiwan ultra-thin, so it’s very light to hold. And the wide-open mouth design makes it less likely to burn your fingertips. We particularly like the size and delicate shape of this gaiwan.

Additional Information:
It’s food safe, of course. And also dishwasher safe. However, I strongly recommend that you wash and dry it by hand, and use it gently. Please do not use on an open flame, gas or electric stove-top. And try to avoid alternating hot and cold, which could cause cracking.
