Traditional Floral Antique Gaiwan
Traditional Floral Antique Gaiwan
These gaiwan feature a pattern of traditional Chinese style flowers in a window. They were produced by the Ceramic Factory, run by the government during the 70 to 80s, making it an antique. During the 80s, this teaware was created with a high standard and was intended to be exported to Europe. The formula of glaze and clay that people used during the 80s is very different than that of modern teaware, and it's rare to find an antique piece in this popular market. It's precious as a collectible piece of art. Holds approximately 200 ml of liquids. It's suitable for people who have relatively large hands.
Please note that one of the matching trays of the pink one has a slight crack on the side. We lowered the price due to this flaw. The gaiwan is in perfect shape.

Additional Information:
It’s food safe, of course. And also dishwasher safe. However, I strongly recommend that you wash and dry it by hand, and use it gently. Please do not use on an open flame, gas or electric stove-top. And try to avoid alternating hot and cold, which could cause cracking.
