Inspired by traditional cheongsam style dresses, this white linen dress is designed by a studio that specializes in creating natural fabric fashion in Guangzhou, China. The outer fabric is 67% silk linen and 33% rayon. It comes with the inner white tank dress, made with 100% viscose fiber.
We are a big fan of cheongsam style dresses (we will introduce more traditional cheongsam dresses in the near future). They feature traditional knots on the left shoulder. Most traditional cheongsam style dresses are tight and intended to fit close to the body. We particularly like how this dress combines traditional cheongsam style with a loose and airy design, making it perfect for twirling around in on hot summer days. This is the dress for those of you who love traditional Chinese culture, but want to keep up with the modern world.
We completely fell in love when we saw the back of this dress. It is gathered at the waist and flairs out toward the bottom, mimicking delicate butterfly wings. We love the airy texture and unique three-dimensional design of this dress. The loose-fitting works for a variety of body sizes.
Please note that most clothing designed from this studio is a bit smaller than the regular sizes in the U.S., so keep in mind your item will fit on the smaller end (though it’s an oversized design). If you are not sure which size to go with, please feel free to contact us.

Care Instructions:
Linen becomes softer and more absorbent after each wash, which is pretty neat. Wash linen on low temperatures in lukewarm or cold, and preferably soft, water. Use the gentle machine cycle and a mild detergent to protect the fibers. Feel free to machine (tumble) dry your linen clothes, as long as you stick to low temperatures. Remove from the dryer when still slightly damp to avoid the linen becoming stiff, and hang or lie flat to finish off the drying process.
Never wash light-colored clothing with dark items to prevent dye transfer.

We accept returns for any reason within 14 days of the purchase date, as long as the item is in its original condition, and the tags have not been removed. Simply contact us via email to initiate the return. Your refund will be processed after we receive the item. Returns must be accompanied by the packing list or receipt.
