Handmade Earthy Poem Teapot
Handmade in Jingdezhen, China, this teapot features an earthy glaze with a glossy finish. The interior of this teapot is unglazed. It has a classic pattern with a Chinese poem on both sides of the body which can be translated as “fish jumps out of an ocean as high as it can, and flowers bloom in a mysterious world as beautiful as it can." This is meant to describe the best moments of a person's life. The Jingdezhen kaolin clay and natural mineral glaze never produce the same appearance twice when they are fired, so each piece from this studio is unique. It’s always a fun surprise to see the special characteristics of each piece. We particularly like the earthy yellow glaze and hand carved Chinese poem of this teapot.

Additional Information:
It’s food safe, of course. And also dishwasher safe. However, I strongly recommend that you wash and dry it by hand, and use it gently. Please do not use on an open flame, gas or electric stove-top. And try to avoid alternating hot and cold, which could cause cracking.
